Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their progress. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and the ability to collect and analyze data effectively.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by a supervisor or behavior analyst.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client behaviors and responses to interventions.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain medical records in accordance with confidentiality guidelines and organizational policies.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting client interactions and progress.
- Provide support and guidance to clients in various settings, promoting their independence and skill development.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and therapeutic techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in data collection methods related to behavioral therapy is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical records management and understanding of medical terminology is beneficial.
- A background in working with individuals on the autism spectrum is advantageous.

Pay: $21.70 - $23.19 per hour

- 4 hour shift
