Psychologist / Counsellor / Therapist - San Rafael, CA

Pay - $ 50 - 65 Hourly
Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Therapist, Counselor, or Psychologist for a flexible position (full-time or part-time) in San Rafael, CA. The role involves delivering high-quality therapeutic services to students, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting overall student wellness on campus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling services to students (individual and group sessions)
- Offer in-classroom "push-in" and pull-out therapy support
- Develop and track IEP goals for students
- Complete documentation: Present Levels, IEP goals, session notes, and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings with educators, OTs, SLPs, and behaviorists
- Assist with safety planning, crisis intervention, and parent/staff coaching
- Maintain regular communication with families
Qualifications:
- Must hold one of the following California licenses or credentials:
- LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, or valid PPS credential in School Counseling or School Psychology
- 5-7 years of experience providing school-based mental health services
- Experience working with autistic students or individuals with developmental differences
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
- Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, culturally responsive, and strength-based care

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
