Job Details: Full-time, in-person position
  • School Year Dates: August 11, 2025 – May 22, 2026
  • Setting: Two Elementary Schools, K-5
Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
  • Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services.
  • Observing students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school
  • Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in School Psychology
  • Illinois Professional Educator Licensure for School Psychologist
  • One year of full-time, supervised internship in a school setting
