Job Title: School Psychologist (Contract – Full Time)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (August 2025 – June 2026)

Hourly Pay Rate: $57/hour


Job Description:

We are seeking qualified and experienced School Psychologists to join the Testing/Evaluation Team in a school-based setting in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the 2025–2026 school year. These are full-time, W-2 contract positions offering a competitive hourly rate of $57/hour.

As a member of the school’s evaluation team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, supporting eligibility determination, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote academic and social-emotional success for students in a K–12 environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility discussions
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Provide consultation to school staff on student learning, behavior, and mental health


Qualifications (Required):

  • Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) License in School Psychology
  • Certified by the North Carolina Psychology Board (supervision cannot be provided)
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in School Psychology
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education law, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
