Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Worker-School Assistant at RIMYA Services located in Chicago, IL. The Social Worker-School Assistant will be responsible for providing social work support in a school setting, assisting students with various emotional and social challenges, collaborating with teachers and parents, and implementing interventions to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in social work or related field
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and social work principles
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
• Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
