We are currently seeking a Clinical Team Leader to join our leadership team. This position is essential to the success of our clinical services and provides a unique opportunity to support and supervise a talented team of clinicians while ensuring excellence in service delivery and compliance with Florida standards and regulations.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Team Leader works under the direction of the Clinical Director to supervise and support clinical staff, ensure quality care, and oversee client service delivery. This role involves providing training, conducting client sessions, supporting clinical documentation, and playing an integral part in team performance, growth, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support clinical staff through individual and group supervision.
- Conduct intakes, TPRs, exit interviews, and group/individual sessions as needed.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of clinical staff.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards.
- Provide ongoing training and quality assurance for therapists.
- Participate in program evaluations and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Operations Manager on clinical goals and performance.
- Assist with monthly file audits and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and agency guidelines, including HIPAA.
- Maintain expertise in mental health, addiction, trauma, and recovery practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required).
- Active Florida clinical license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
- Experience supervising clinical staff and conducting clinical assessments.
- Strong knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment, recovery principles, and clinical documentation.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and Florida DCF standards is a plus.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
