IMI Agency specializes in Building Better Beverage Business™ for our Hospitality Clients through cutting edge marketing programs and promotions, interactive food & beverage merchandising and operations tools, staff training, and recognition/reward programs for all channels in the Hospitality industry. IMI programs create brand value and opportunities with consumers while driving food and beverage sales and profits for our Hospitality Operator clients.
 

Job Description:

We are seeking two hospitality-prone, methodical, data-driven, proactive Key Account Specialists to grow our emerging programs team of talented and enthusiastic individuals. The ideal candidate has experience in beverage alcohol management, distributor and supplier relationships, is tech-friendly, and is comfortable working with financial and purchase data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results
  • Read and manipulate beverage alcohol sales and purchase data reports
  • Consult, process, and manage supplier marketing support accounts
  • Develop relationships with alcohol suppliers and distributors that cover regional and national chain accounts
  • Full competency in demonstrating and using the PayBev™ online application
  • Identify quarterly goals by working with management
  • Achieve quarterly goals as defined, proactively reporting and escalating concerns as needed throughout each quarter
  • Frequently interact with the support department to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Maintain communication with the accounting department to manage financials
  • Understand and abide by the laws that govern the beverage alcohol industry
 
Education & Qualifications:
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Industry-related experience within the food and beverage distribution, hospitality, or supplier community
  • Comprehensive understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and the supplier/distribution channel
  • Proficient at creating, reading, and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
  • Some fintech experience (familiar with PayPal, Venmo, Square, etc.)
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Natural talent for problem solving and great attention to detail
  • High-energy interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and work under minimal direction
  • Hospitable, with a service-oriented, client-first mentality
  • Follow-up and follow-through must be your mantra
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
