Position Overview: The Director of Information Technology (IT) at The Atonne Group will oversee the IT operations for the parent company and its 13 businesses, totaling approximately 1000 employees. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management and strategic direction of IT resources, systems, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Plan
- Serve as the executive leader of the division, setting vision, direction and long-term strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Create and implement continuous business plan for IT.
- IT Supervision and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals.
- Hire, train, supervise, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation.
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering long-term career growth and knowledge transfer.
- High-Level IT Areas:
- Manage Operations: Network, on-premises, cloud (Microsoft 365).
- Applications: Oversee in-house developed, licensed software, and software as a service.
- Ensure IT architecture supports both current operational needs and future business scalability.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate and collaborate on business and IT strategies with The Atonne Group Board.
- Provide clear verbal and written communication to supervisors, employees, clients, peers, committees, and boards.
- Financial Stewardship:
- Develop and manage the division’s P&L, budget and capital investments with a focus on ROI and cost efficiency
- Evaluate and oversee major contracts, vendor negotiations and technology investments.
- Report regularly on performance metrics and KPIs to the CEO/Executive Board.
- Project Management:
- Oversee and lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including system and application implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
- Utilize project management applications and methodologies.
- Applications Management:
- Oversee selection, implementation and management of business-critical applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).
- Understand business functions and client needs.
- Manage data normalization and configuration.
- Oversee all Licensed software run on company systems.
- Cybersecurity
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
- Know business compliance regulations and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, data privacy and security policies are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of IT management experience.
- Proven track record in IT supervision, cybersecurity, project management, and applications management.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
