License Therapist Job Function and Role:

The role of a License Therapist at Celadon Recovery is to apply skills in counseling individuals receiving services. Some functions of the therapist include developing a treatment plan sensitive to specific needs of individuals, exploring ways of coping with current stressors, integrating family dynamics and/or support systems into therapeutic services, reintegration assistance for individuals after receiving treatment services, and other areas of concern or intervention for individuals. The function of the License Therapist and role is also to be knowledgeable regarding various mental health disorders and the disease concept of addiction and SUD, as well as diagnosing such disorders and offering interventions to address signs and symptoms associated with such.

License Therapist Responsibilities and Duties:

  • ·Provide individual counseling to individuals receiving care and maintain compliance with regulations and level of care.
  • Provide individuals Initial Treatment Plan, Biopsychosocial Assessment, Integrated Treatment Plan, or Abbreviated Treatment Plan, on-going individual notes, discharge documentation, and all other necessary documentation, sensitive to the client’s specific needs and in accordance with all licensing and regulatory bodies.
  • Involve family and/or significant others into the client’s treatment plan, discharge plan and aftercare plan, when appropriate and with client’s consent and signed releases to do so.
  • May need to refer clients to outside sources or agencies to address the client’s specific concerns.
  • Maintain educational requirements for licensing and/or while in pursuit of licensing or for a related degree program.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality to remain compliant with all confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to HIPPA privacy laws/rules (42CFR2), and conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Must provide a Biopsychosocial Assessment and all initial treatment plans with clients within 48 hours of Intake.
  • Preform a weekly process group with your clients on caseload, assist Counselors with groups as needed, assist with alternate groups, assist Discharge Planner and Clinical Director as needed, and assist clinical team with deliverables.
  • Assist Clinical Supervisor and Program Director where necessary to ensure fluidity of clinical program, documentation, and process for maintaining licensure, accreditation, and compliance.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing, and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks for the Chief Executive Officer, Clinical Director and/or designees

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Possess a master's degree in social work, mental health, or a related field with commensurate experience and relevant training; independent licensure required in accordance with FAC and annotated codes.
  • Well versed in mental health disorders and the disease concept of addiction and subsequent behaviors
  • Completed application, resume, education, professional references, and all other requirements from HR.
  • Obtained CPR/First Aid certification, Cleared Tuberculosis Testing and/or questionnaire, Level II background check.
  • Compliance with all confidentiality, HIPPA and 42CFR2 guidelines, along with a working knowledge of the mission and population served.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
