Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Mobile Crisis Clinician to work full time, providing counseling and therapy to patients through our CCHBC Mobile Crisis Program. This position works five evening shifts per week (11 PM-7:30 AM), which can include any five evenings of the selected applicant’s choosing.

 

This position dispatches to crises in the community as part of a 2-person clinician/peer co-response model.

 

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive between $4,000 - $8,000 depending upon licensure!

 

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $34.00/hr

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic or in-person response to adults and youth experiencing crisis in the community
  • Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities which may include screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, referrals, crisis intervention, crisis counseling, patient education, reporting and record keeping.   
  • Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.     
  • Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality. 

Qualifications

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license required. 
    • Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable.   
  • Two years employment experience in the Human Services field preferred.
  • Must have valid NYS driver’s license
