We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing support and guidance to individuals facing various challenges, including mental health issues, addiction, and family dynamics. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns, including PTSD care and addiction counseling.
- Provide crisis management support to clients in urgent situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of client needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and case management records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals within hospital settings to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Engage in data collection to monitor client progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Offer child family counseling services, facilitating communication and understanding among family members.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work and addiction medicine to enhance counseling practices.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in crisis management, case management, and providing therapeutic support.
- Familiarity with PTSD care techniques and addiction counseling methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in medical documentation practices, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in client records.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team within a hospital or clinical setting.
- A valid license or certification as required by state regulations is preferred but not mandatory for all applicants.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
