Company Description
Jason, a practitioner for change, has provided 20 years of risk- reduction counseling to marginalized and at-risk communities in New Jersey and New York heavily focusing on adolescent and LGBTQIA+ members of color. He has served in multiple leadership roles for multiple community-based research organizations with a mission to empower and educate. As a dual-licensed psychotherapist, Jason has coordinated several state-wide retreats to promote healthy sexual behaviors to those most at-risk within the LGBTQIA+ community of color, participated in several panel discussion, and served as a keynote speaker for several community-based organizations. Jason has a bachelor's degree in communications, a master's degree in human services with a concentration in counseling and is currently working on a Ph.D in human development with a concentration on social justice. He has two clinical licenses and over 15 years of senior management in program development and implementation of evidence-based behavior modification interventions.
Role Description
At Wellness with Jason Dotson, we are dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of youth aged 3-21. As a forward-thinking, for-profit organization, we provide comprehensive therapy services and community-based care through Intensive In-Community Care (IICs), Behavioral Assistants (BAs), Mentorship, Parent Coaching, and Family Counseling.
Our team of well qualified professionals are committed to fostering resilience and growth in children and young adults by offering personalized, compassionate care that addresses both individual and family needs. Qualifications
- Current and valid LAC, LSW, LCSW, LCADC, LPC, LMFT, LAMFT license in New Jersey.
- Have professional liability insurance.
- Have a clean driver's license and proof of car insurance.
- Ability to use mobile devices and software.
- Pass a background check with the state of New Jersey.
- We value talent/experience, and are open to negotiating pay to demonstrate our commitment.
