The Wells Empowerment Group, LLC is a clinical behavioral health practice that is seeking therapists to provide individual therapy (remote and office options) to clients who reside in Hammonton NJ, Galloway NJ, and Plainfield NJWe are seeking a clinically licensed professional in New Jersey (e.g., LPC, LAC, LCSW) who is qualified to provide individual therapy. Experience working with individuals involved in legal or protective systems is preferred.Please provide proof of licensure and relevant experience when responding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support patients in their mental health journey.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to address patient concerns effectively.
• Provide chronic pain counseling to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding for diagnosis and treatment documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy and patient care.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages open communication and trust between patients and staff.

Experience

• A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in individual and group counseling within a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with geriatric care practices is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques is essential.
• Experience with chronic pain counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
