Hybrid – In-Person (Antelope Valley, CA) & Remote

Are you looking for a flexible, supportive, and rewarding role where you can focus on providing high-quality psychological assessments? Mindful Play Psychological Services is seeking a Post-Doctoral Psychological Associate or Licensed Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, teens, and adults.

This hybrid position offers the best of both worlds:

*One in-person testing day per week at our Antelope Valley office (flexible scheduling available).

*Work from home the rest of the week, focusing on report writing, scoring, and administrative tasks.

*Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals across the lifespan.

Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Delay.

  • Write detailed, high-quality reports with strength-based recommendations.
  • Provide feedback sessions to clients and families.
  • Collaborate with schools, medical providers, and other professionals.
  • Maintain timely and organized documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and didactics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of an internship (preferably in a child/adolescent/family-focused track).
  • Licensed Psychologists: Active and unrestricted California license through the California Board of Psychology.
  • Post-Doc Candidates: Training and supervision opportunities available.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting psychological assessments.
  • 1+ year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in pediatric psychological assessments and experience administering the ADOS-2.
  • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to timely documentation and report completion.

Commission-Based Pay – Earn based on each billable hour of client service (calculated based on experience, performance, and number of clients seen).

Salary Range (Based on Hours Worked & Evaluations Completed):

Post-Doc: $76,800 (part-time) – $115,200+ (full-time)

Licensed Psychologist: $96,000 (part-time) – $144,000+ (full-time)

Work Hours:

  • One in-person testing day per week in Antelope Valley – Scheduling is flexible!
  • The rest of the week is remote – Report writing, scoring, and administrative work from home.
  • No weekend work required!
