Job Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Location: Tucson, AZ


Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and licensed Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
  • Valid, unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum of 1 year post-doctoral clinical experience within the last 5 years (government or healthcare settings preferred).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the DSM (latest edition) and medical/mental health terminology.
  • Knowledge of substance use treatment frameworks and core functions.
  • Experience using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, PE, MI, REBT, ACT, etc.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide brief, focused psychological interventions and evidence-based therapies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient and mental health records.
  • Offer patient and family education and consult with multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Participate in crisis response, follow-up care, and continuing care planning.
  • Facilitate therapy groups and contribute to program development and quality improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, interns, and unlicensed professionals.
  • Prepare clinical reports and support psychological evaluations for specialized programs or assessments.
  • Collaborate in outcome tracking, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.


Work Environment:

This position requires working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. It involves direct patient care, documentation, coordination with care teams, and occasional crisis intervention support.
