Tech Lead - Delta One MFT
A leading global systematic hedge fund is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the design and development of its Delta One Mid-Frequency Trading platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead a team of engineers to build scalable, low-latency infrastructure enabling systematic trading in futures, ETFs, and equity swaps.
You will work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and infrastructure teams to engineer systems that are performance-optimized, research-driven, and tightly aligned with the demands of global Delta One strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and architecture of low-latency, event-driven trading systems supporting Delta One instruments, including ETFs, futures, and swaps.
- Own the technical roadmap for the Delta One MFT platform, from market access to execution and real-time risk management.
- Partner with researchers and portfolio managers to integrate strategies and signals into the production stack.
- Build infrastructure that supports rapid research iteration and robust production deployment.
- Mentor engineers, establish development best practices, and maintain a high standard of code quality, performance, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in C++ and Python development within equities, futures, or Delta One trading.
- Strong grasp of equity and futures market microstructure, order types, smart order routing, and trade lifecycle.
- Expertise in building multi-threaded, high-throughput systems for real-time data processing and trading.
- Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams in fast-paced, trading-focused environments.
- Deep understanding of systems performance optimization, latency measurement, and tuning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or a related technical field.
