What You Will Do

• Coordinates the medical care of patients in the program of the assigned area.
• Contributes to the evaluation, planning, development, and implementation of MHM operations and MHS goals and objectives while coordinating and developing policies, procedures, processes and projects for the assigned area.
• Communicates effectively to provide optimal patient care and promote professional climate throughout the medical center. Promotes guest relations through implementation of professional role.
• Functions as liaison between inpatient and outpatient areas, in conjunction with the Program Medical and Surgical Directors, to develop comprehensive plans of care for specialty child or family.

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN
• Master's Degree Nursing- RN
  
  

Work Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years Clinical healthcare (acute or hospital)
• Pediatric
  
  

Licenses And Certifications Requirements

• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse Arkansas - Arkansas State Board of Nursing
• Registered Nurse Mississippi - Mississippi Board of Nursing
• Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing
  
  

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Proficient in computer operations acquired either through work experience or education, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of workflow.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations as would be acquired through completion of high school.
• Understanding of basic research principals and scientific methods.
