We provide an environment of support, growth, and encouragement in a family setting. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our clients by teaching techniques to manage their disability in a supporting and encouraging environment.

We practice gentle yoga & mindfulness meditation as daily programming.

We promote good health & eating habits with support from our own gardens.

We believe that success with completion of a project that one is invested in can be very therapeutic and rewarding. Our clients take part in “Daybreak Gardens” horticultural program which includes seasonal planting, propagating, and preparing of produce. This produce is then sold to our local neighborhood through our own produce stands.

We will train the right person but having a CBRF certification is a plus.

$14 to $20 an hour for Residential Counselor I position with verifiable documentation of work performed with Daybreak’s target population. i.e., the severely and persistently mentally ill, secondarily developmentally disabled, AODA and correctional clients.

. No physical daily personal care assistance required.

• 48 hours earned sick leave after one year (prorated for part-time)
