Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and ( LCSW)

Clinical Supervisor: Clinical Director

Administrative Supervisor: Program Administrator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

ONLY 100% Remote for a certified licensed therapist in the State of Louisiana ( Bachelor and Master's Degree preferred )

2 Day onsite Training in Lafayette, LA (Life Changing Solution, LLC office ) and ongoing training if needed

Complete Assessments notation needed for the position. Will train if necessary..

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff and encourage individual development and proper caseload management.

 Responsible for program admissions, transitions, and discharges.

 Responsible for reviewing and determining crisis situations and assigning and prescribing

appropriate services for follow-up, when necessary.

 Complete comprehensive initial psychosocial assessments and assign proper diagnosis.

Complete the LOCUS/CALOCUS for all clients.

 Complete reassessments as required by the state and MCOs.

 Serve as the leader of the team to develop individual treatment plans with clients.

 Complete initial authorization request forms for clients, upon admission to the program.

 Review, lock and sign progress notes. Provide feedback when necessary.

 Complete clinical reviews as requested or required by CMO(s).

 Provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment to clients who have been assessed and admitted to services

 Gather information for re-assessments and ensure appropriate documentation and signatures.

 Enforce program policies and procedures to ensure agency compliance.

 Assist physician during medication management appointments when necessary.

 Be available on-call for clients when needed.

Administrative duties

Complete documentation for assessments and assessment scales within 48 hours of the session.

Prepare and write accurate progress notes, progress summaries and other documents related to services provided to the client, submit paperwork for clinical supervision

Attend trainings and meetings as required

LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS

 Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and be currently licensed as a LPC or LCSW. License must be active and in good standing.

 Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, with minimal direct supervision.

 Must possess NPI number and CAQH number

 Must register with LAMedicaid

Effective for use: September 19, 2024

 Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

 Ability to communicate orally and verbally

 Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines for data entry

 Abide by agency’s policies and procedures (confidentiality, incident reporting, FWA, code of ethics, non-discrimination)

 Must possess a valid driver license

 Must be able to diagnose individuals according to DSM standards

 Must be able to develop and execute a treatment plan

 Must be able to supervision and instruct non-licensed clinicians appropriately

 Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if position is offered

On-going training required by MCOs

WORKING CONDITIONS

The LMHP usually work in an office or remote environment, but some services will be/ may be provided

in a community-based environment. Travel to homes will/may be required. Telehealth is an approved method of providing services.

Job Type: Full-time Employee, guaranteed at least 40 hours per week

*Must be classified as a full-time employee to participate in benefits

Probationary Period

First 60 days- Classification is Temporary/ Employee

Post probation- Classification- Full-time Regular/Hourly

Pay/Compensation- Based on timesheet that will generate from Sharenote

*When minimum hours are not met, hourly rate will be used to calculate payment (Timesheet will be generated using the progress note entries in the E.H.R)

Performance Measures- Reviewed every 365

Required hours per week

Complete assessments accurately and in a timely manner

Complete treatment plan accurately and in a timely manner

Document supervision appropriately for non-licensed staff members

Enter progress notes without error and within timeframe

On time for scheduled clinical supervision

Provide CPST services to assigned clients

Effectively manage flexible schedule

Able to manage caseload

Adhere to agency policies and procedures

Acceptable Timeframes

Assessment/Ca-LOCUS/Treatment Plan/Screening- 2 hours

Clinical Supervision- 10 hours per week (Auto)

CPST/ Crisis assessment or services- Timesheet calculated using hours entered in Sharenote

**Time not to exceed 40 hours per week/ 80 hours per pay period Duties:
- Provide mental health support and therapy to individuals with a variety of needs, including dance therapy, chronic pain counseling, special needs, autism therapy, gender issues counseling, and art therapy.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques to promote emotional well-being and personal growth.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting or providing therapeutic services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as dance therapy, art therapy, and clinical research.
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for insurance billing purposes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others improve their mental health.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all aspects of work.
