Juniper Psychology Group is a small group practice in Campbell, California focusing on assessment and treatment of children and teens. We are looking for a licensed psychologist to perform assessments for children and teens in the areas of learning disabilities, autism, educational difficulties, and emotional health. If desired, the psychologist may also carry a caseload of therapy clients in addition to assessment.

Clinicians at Juniper provide evaluation and clinical services to children, teens and families with a variety of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, autism spectrum, social, and behavioral issues. Clinicians will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, learn about specialized areas of treatment, work on clinical teams with other therapists in the group, and participate in group case consultation.

Practice owners are psychologists who have been working in the field for over 20 years, and are seeking exceptional clinicians who are committed to patient care and continued learning. Clinicians will build up to 15 client hours per week, with more if desired.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health and learning needs.
  • If desired, provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) or equivalent qualifications
  • Proficiency in psychotherapy, patient assessment, and mental health counseling
  • Experience with psychological testing and diagnostic evaluation
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
  • Familiarity with child and family counseling practices and telehealth services

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
