This role is designed to support and work alongside our existing Patient Care Coordinator and Rehab Tech. You will be joining a collaborative team environment where responsibilities are shared, and success is driven by strong communication, mutual support, and collective accountability. Position Overview

As a Rehab Tech / Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be a vital link between patients and clinicians, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure a high-quality experience across the entire continuum of care. You'll assist physical therapists with exercise programs, maintain a clean and organized treatment space, manage patient scheduling, handle insurance and check-in procedures, and support day-to-day clinic operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support (Rehab Tech Duties):

  • Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions with exercise oversight and patient education.
  • Set up equipment, prepare treatment areas, and ensure a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
  • Engage with patients in a compassionate, professional manner to support their care plans.

Administrative Support (Front Desk Duties):

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Schedule appointments, check in patients, and enter patient and insurance information accurately into EMR systems.
  • Collect co-pays, coinsurance, and verify insurance authorizations.
  • Monitor and maintain Plan of Care compliance with weekly visit expectations.
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines while providing outstanding customer service.

Clinic Operations & Communication:

  • Coordinate daily clinic flow and assist in prioritizing clinic needs.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, and leadership.
  • Support and contribute to team meetings, planning sessions, and performance check-ins.
  • Track and understand clinic metrics and assist with adjustments to improve patient outcomes and clinic success.
  • Align work with North Boulder PT’s core values and clinic-wide goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with physical movement and ability to assist with light physical activity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and EMR systems (or willingness to learn).
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to help others.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, rehab, or customer service is preferred.
  • Background in exercise science, kinesiology, or anatomy is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in healthcare, customer service, or office administration is a plus.
  • Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or pursuing a related field welcomed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
