About Job
- Works with youth and their families in mental health, home or office settings.
- Provides case management and some skills training with children and families.
- Makes assessment and psychosocial evaluations and recommendations.
- Refers families of clients to appropriate social welfare and health agencies to obtain assistance.
- Performs Related Work as Required.
- One year of case management preferred.
- Must have current valid driver’s license and current and continued proof of liability insurance.
- Bachelor’s Degree (CWI) or Master’s Degree (CW II) in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Knowledge of emotional problems and treatment approaches.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with consumers and colleagues.
- Good work habits and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with computer operation.
- Level of general health permitting stooping, bending, climbing stairs and participating in moderately active recreational activities.
- Physical ability to perform CPR and PMAB skills.
- Must have and maintain a level of general health which permits the performance of job duties.
- Bilingual Preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to travel locally 50% and regionally 5% and to transport clients.
- Skills Training, Linking/Monitoring Internal/External Services and reduce recidivism
- Must have excellent clinical documentation skills.
