About Confident Young Minds

Confident Young Minds is dedicated to fostering resilience, growth, and confidence in

youth through therapeutic and enrichment-based programming. Our Summer Camp

Enrichment Program serves children ages 5 to 18 and integrates behavioral health

support with fun, educational, and socially enriching activities.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) or Associate Professional to join

our summer camp team. This role involves providing behavioral and social-emotional

support, leading structured activities, and contributing to a safe and inclusive

environment for children and adolescents.

This is a seasonal, hourly position ideal for passionate, experienced professionals

looking to make a meaningful impact during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

 Support children ages 5–18 in structured enrichment programming

 Facilitate activities promoting social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral

growth

 Implement and monitor individualized behavior support strategies

 Collaborate with team members to create a trauma-informed, inclusive

environment

 Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes, as needed

 Attend and actively participate in scheduled team meetings and clinical

supervision

 Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging camp environment for all participants

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling,

Education, or a related human services field (required)

 Minimum 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in behavioral

health, educational, or community-based settings

 Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

 Ability to manage behavior using positive, strength-based approaches

 Commitment to working as part of a diverse and collaborative team

 Must pass background checks and any required pre-employment screenings

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience in summer camp or group-based youth programs

 Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles

 Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Training & Support

Comprehensive training is provided, including program orientation, behavior

management techniques, and supervision practices. Ongoing clinical and team support

will be available throughout the duration of the program.
