About Confident Young Minds
Confident Young Minds is dedicated to fostering resilience, growth, and confidence in
youth through therapeutic and enrichment-based programming. Our Summer Camp
Enrichment Program serves children ages 5 to 18 and integrates behavioral health
support with fun, educational, and socially enriching activities.
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) or Associate Professional to join
our summer camp team. This role involves providing behavioral and social-emotional
support, leading structured activities, and contributing to a safe and inclusive
environment for children and adolescents.
This is a seasonal, hourly position ideal for passionate, experienced professionals
looking to make a meaningful impact during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities
Support children ages 5–18 in structured enrichment programming
Facilitate activities promoting social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral
growth
Implement and monitor individualized behavior support strategies
Collaborate with team members to create a trauma-informed, inclusive
environment
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes, as needed
Attend and actively participate in scheduled team meetings and clinical
supervision
Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging camp environment for all participants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling,
Education, or a related human services field (required)
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in behavioral
health, educational, or community-based settings
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage behavior using positive, strength-based approaches
Commitment to working as part of a diverse and collaborative team
Must pass background checks and any required pre-employment screenings
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in summer camp or group-based youth programs
Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Training & Support
Comprehensive training is provided, including program orientation, behavior
management techniques, and supervision practices. Ongoing clinical and team support
will be available throughout the duration of the program.
