  • Qualifications include a Masters Degree in School Counseling from an accredited college or university and a current Illinois Elementary Professional Educator License (PEL). Classroom experience is preferred.
  • The counselor provides services to address academic, personal/social, and career development needs, collaborates with problem-solving teams, and works closely with families, staff, administration, and outside agencies.
  • Assists students with post-secondary planning, including school enrollment, course selection, and scheduling.
  • Participates in activities that contribute to the counseling program and school operation, including crisis intervention and system support.
  • Engages in professional growth and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
