Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Are you ready to be an essential part of our team and help maintain the integrity and organization of medical records?

As a Hospice Intake Coordinator, You Will:

• Manage all aspects of the patient intake processes.
• Scheduling field nurses visits.
• Performs secretarial duties related to screening calls and facilitating communication for team managers and other staff between patients, families, and other companies.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Participate in on-call on the weekends.

Must Have:

• Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations including JCAHO regulations.
• 1-2 years minimum experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical.
• Medical Terminology familiarity.
• Understands philosophy of hospice concept and understands needs of the terminally ill.
• Must be licensed driver with an automobile that insured in accordance with state.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of Kantime Hospice EMR.
• Experience with PointClickCare or similar electronic health record systems.
