Qualifications:

Master's Level

BCBA and PA State Behavior Specialist License

At least 1 year Experience implementing ABA with individuals with autism

Pass Federal and State background checks

Job Description:

Behavior and Education Support Services has been providing quality Applied Behavior Analytic services to children, adolescents and young adults located in Montgomery and Bucks counties for over 10 years. We are seeking caring, energetic and reliable Behavior Analysts who have experience in studying the environmental variables that contribute to changes in behavior.

Essential Duties

Conducts functional analysis or assessment of various problem behaviors (e.g., physical aggression, property destruction, verbal aggression, elopement, etc.) for clients.

Creates function-based positive behavior intervention plans.

Implementation of function-based interventions for the reduction of problem behaviors.

Administers assessments including but not limited to: FBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK and Essentials for Living.

Creates each individual’s Behavior Support Plan, Treatment Plan and/or Program Description, and provides appropriate materials to support the implementation of the plans.

Collects, monitors and analyze data on all targeted behaviors for acceleration and deceleration on assigned individual(s) as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan, Treatment Plan and/or Program Description, and makes adjustments as needed.

Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians in implementing individualized programs that are appropriate to the ages and populations served.

Meets with supervisor

Coordinate with other service providers

Train parents or caregivers on appropriate behavior strategies and instructional techniques to improve daily functioning for their child.
