Intern position with the Housing Department offers a unique opportunity
to provide critical housing stability services to Wichita residents
while working under the mentorship of a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or

and economic needs through counseling, consulting, and referrals.\

As part of the Housing Department team, youll engage in meaningful case
management work, collaborating with community partners like the Wichita
Police Departments Homeless Outreach Team and other service agencies.

- Counsels applicants to identify and address barriers to housing.
- Counsels applicants to match available services to individual needs.
- Collaborates with the WPD Homeless Outreach Team and other homeless
