- Conduct psychological assessments and psychodiagnostic evaluations, including clinical interviews, standardized testing, and collateral information gathering, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy to diverse populations, using evidence-based interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and patient needs.
- Deliver crisis intervention services by assessing risk and providing immediate therapeutic support or referrals for individuals experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Participate in case consultations, treatment team meetings, and clinical rounds to support integrated care planning and decision-making.
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including assessment reports, treatment progress notes, and psychological test results, in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in training and professional development activities, including attendance at seminars, workshops, and in-service sessions, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Educate and collaborate with families, guardians, and community stakeholders to support treatment continuity and coordination of care.
- Assist in orienting new staff and trainees, and contribute to the clinical learning environment through case discussions and knowledge sharing.
- Research and apply current psychological methodologies and best practices, and provide consultation to external agencies such as schools, courts, and social service organizations.
- Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology.
- Strong foundation in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments, including cognitive, personality, and diagnostic measures.
- Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy and clinical interventions to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care principles in public mental health settings.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary treatment team collaboration and integrated care models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clinical documentation and professional presentations.
- Cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized and underserved communities.
- Ability to manage clinical crises with sound judgment, maintaining calm and professionalism under pressure.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation and case management.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and ongoing professional development in psychology.
