At Inner Balance, we’re dedicated to nurturing and supporting our therapists’ growth. We cover the cost of EMDR training ($1,750) and provide an additional $500 for your professional development (increases annually). RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a professional appearance- and attitude in face-to-face interactions as well as on social media/internet.
• Complete intake assessments and other assessments
• Effectively create and carry out treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• See a minimum of 25 clients/couples each week and schedule 30 clients/couples a week.
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours of time of service.
• Maintain client’s charts and keep complete and correct documentation.
• Complete discharge summaries as required by insurance.
• Develop rapport with clients to facilitate a healthy professional relationship.
• Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment. Follow all rules and statutes issued by the AZBBHE and comply with all ethical codes and standards related to your profession.
• Attend supervision or clinical oversight at least twice a month, all required meetings/training, and, if independently licensed, one peer consultation group a month.
• Follow all policies and procedures in IBC’s handbook and policies and procedures manual.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in professional counseling or related field and licensed in the state of Arizona (LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMSW, LAMFT, etc.).
• Knowledge and clinical experience with adults with mental health issues (trauma, anxiety, transitional issues, parenting, depression, personality disorders, LGBTQIA+ etc.)
• Must have knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of counseling services.
• Must have knowledge of strategies for examining, applying, and evaluating therapy concepts. Additional skills required include a thorough knowledge of the clinical aspects of the mental health field.
• Must be willing to complete the EMDR Basic Training through an EMDRIA-approved trainer and use training in clinical practice.
• Must be willing to complete within the first 30 days a course on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy provided by Inner Balance.
• This role requires a commitment of 40 hours a week to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time.

First 90 Days
Therapists are paid whichever is greater:

A guaranteed flat rate of $769.23/week, or

Session-based pay according to the following tiered structure:

Tiered Session Rates:

• 1-4 clients/week: See handbook.
• 5–20 clients/week: $769.23 flat rate
• 21–25 clients/week: $40 per billable session
• 26–30 clients/week: $45 per billable session
• 31–35 clients/week: $50 per billable session
• 36+ clients/week: $55 per billable session

Example: If you see 28 clients a week (28 Billable Sessions x $45), you will make $1,260/week, $2,520/paycheck, and $60,480 a year working 48 weeks without PTO.
