About Job

Job Summary
Brown Bear Early Intervention Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through individualized therapeutic strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA techniques.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide training and support to families on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.

Skills

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies and behavioral health practices.
  • Background in special education or related fields is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children and their families.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
