Job Summary
The Community Liaison plays a vital role in fostering relationships between our organization and the community. This position is responsible for promoting programs, facilitating outreach initiatives, and ensuring that community needs are met through effective communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for community engagement, particularly in areas related to public health and social services.
Duties
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community members and stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and educational sessions to raise awareness about available resources.
- Collaborate with local organizations to support fundraising efforts and community projects.
- Collect and analyze data related to community needs and program effectiveness.
- Provide public speaking engagements to educate the community on relevant issues, including addiction counseling and public health initiatives.
- Supervise volunteers and interns involved in community outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate administrative records of outreach efforts, partnerships, and program outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising, project management, or related fields.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Background in social work or addiction counseling is highly desirable.
- Experience in supervising teams or volunteers is a plus.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis to inform program development.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for administrative tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in the community.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
