Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • At least one year experience working with elderly population in acute, long-term care, or community-based setting, required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with residents/families
  • Ability to have one-on-one conversations, routine visits with residents, and facilitating difficult conversations with families
  • Demonstrate progressive leadership and initiative
