UPMC Western Psychiatric - Western Wellness is seeking a Licensed Psychologists for our professional practice in Green Tree. The position requires an independent psychologist who will provide direct, individual therapy to adults, children, and/or families. Treatment is typically short-term, goal-focused care. This role will work regular day time hours with one evening per week. On call hours are not required. After training and established practice, some remote and flexibility in hours are available.
This position provides evaluation of and treatment for clients with a variety of milder mental health concerns. Conducts assessments to reach diagnostic conclusions and to develop a meaningful treatment plan. Coordinates with care teams to plan behavioral health treatment across levels of care.
$5,000 for a 2-year contract
$7,000 for a 3-year contract
Responsibilities:
Active PA Psychology License

Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy, using empirically validated treatments and interventions.
- Perform initial evaluations with accurate diagnostic impressions.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant literature and empirically validated treatments.
- Consults and collaborates with other service lines at UPMC and outside agencies regarding patient care.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain accurate and complete records and data collection, performed in a timely fashion.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an accredited institution.
- Active PA Psychology License
- 1 years of experience in Psychology or related field preferred.
- Excellent clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills to work with patients and families.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
