About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement and oversee behavioral therapy programs tailored to each client's unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the community and provide resources for families navigating services.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, special education practices, and patient care principles.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in behavioral health concepts and techniques related to behavioral therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and diagnostic evaluation processes is preferred.
