Software Engineer - Fixed Income MFT
A globally recognized, high-performing hedge fund employing a diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies across multiple asset classes seeks a Software Engineer to join its Fixed Income and Credit Systematic Arbitrage team.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and enhancement of a mid-frequency systematic trading platform dedicated to fixed income and credit arbitrage strategies. This role demands the design and implementation of robust, latency-sensitive systems that support the firm’s trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of a new systematic fixed income and credit trading platform focused on statistical arbitrage and mid-frequency trading strategies.
- Develop and maintain tools essential for the support and execution of systematic arbitrage trading products.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to implement and optimize fixed income trading strategies.
- Work within a small, multidisciplinary trading team to prototype and deploy systems capable of ingesting market data from equity, fixed income, and futures venues and executing trades with stringent latency requirements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years experience as a software engineer developing fixed income or credit trading systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in building electronic trading platforms within the fixed income or credit domain.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Strong quantitative skills with practical experience in financial modelling or trading strategy development.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects in tight timeframes
