Now Hiring: Foster Care Case Manager at Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy Location: Decatur, IL Status: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Foster Care Supervisor

What You'll Do:

Assess the needs of children and families and develop individualized service plans Conduct weekly home visits and maintain regular contact with foster families and other supports Advocate for clients in court and through multi-disciplinary team meetings Facilitate placements and provide post-placement supervision Coordinate with schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case records Participate in court hearings, administrative case reviews, and agency utilization review Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (Master of Social Work or equivalent preferred)

Experience: Professional experience in foster care or child welfare preferred

Requirements:

  • Successfully obtain necessary foster care case management licensing
  • Valid Illinois driver's license and proof of required auto insurance
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with children, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to provide home-based services and participate in on-call rotation
