Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient behavior and progress throughout their treatment.
• Assist in conducting group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions, and providing support to participants.
• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate mental health status and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with team members and documenting patient information.
• Participate in research initiatives related to mental health practices and interventions.
• Support pediatric patients or those with special education needs as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management and coding practices, including ICD-9.
• Knowledge of group therapy techniques and patient assessment methods.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others improve their mental well-being.

Pay: $35.37 - $42.60 per hour
