Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of clients, including diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management strategies and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools and community programs.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with autism.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Ability to conduct thorough medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records.
- Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress effectively.
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate client needs accurately.
