COMPENSATION: $125 per day for the first ten (10) days of the assignment; then $150 per day for the remainder of the assignment
Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License with School Counselor Endorsement.
Additional qualifications/skills required:
- Provide comprehensive counseling services to support students' academic, post-secondary, and personal/social/emotional development
- Knowledgeable about students' developmental needs and familiar with the ASCA national model
- Possess strong speaking and written communication skills for use in fostering effective communication with students, families, faculty, staff, outside agencies, and administration
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to assess the needs of students and act as an intervention strategist by using data to tract progress and utilize the MTSS process
- Previous school counseling experience preferred
- Background in Special Education and/or ESL/ELL preferred
