Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group counseling sessions. The Substance Abuse Counselor will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote recovery and improve clients' overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Implement motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement in the recovery process.
Utilize crisis intervention and management strategies to support clients in distress.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, mental health counselors, and medical professionals.
Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available resources.

Experience
Candidates should possess a background in one or more of the following areas:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
