About Job

Overview:

The Fenn School seeks a part-time Secondary School Counseling Office Manager. The Secondary School Counseling Office Manager supports the Director and Assistant Director of Secondary School Counseling in helping Fenn families as they navigate the secondary school admission process and transition to their next school. A successful candidate will be highly organized and communicative, collaborative and proactive, support the mission of the school, and work effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff. The position hours are flexible, roughly 10-20 hours per week depending on application cycle and department need.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Secondary School Counseling in leading and executing Fenn’s Secondary School Counseling program
  • Preparing and submitting application packets to schools
  • Prepare and support system for Fenn teacher recommendations
  • Prepare, edit, and send mailings pertaining to Secondary School Counseling
  • Edit and prepare the Secondary School Counseling Handbook
  • In collaboration with the Director and Assistant Director of Secondary School Counseling, plan for and host events such as the Secondary School Forum, Fall and Spring Informational Clinics, and presentations for the Parents Association and Board of Trustees
  • Update statistics to track Secondary School Counseling trends
  • Maintain documentation for NCAA eligibility
  • Provide reception area coverage as needed in Main Office
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in independent schools/enrollment management preferred
  • Proficiency with technology: including Microsoft Suite andGoogle Workspace, can also navigate multiple LMS systems easily
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Experience with and passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work in a school setting
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues
