Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate challenges related to behavioral health, crisis situations, and workforce development. This role requires a proactive approach to providing support and resources, ensuring clients receive the assistance they need to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and management services to individuals in distress.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use issues.
- Facilitate access to community resources, including Section 8 housing assistance and workforce development programs.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their personal growth.
- Mentor and supervise interns or junior staff members in best practices for social work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services for clients.
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems, including Medicare.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent).
- Experience in behavioral health settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, and addiction counseling are essential.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs and workforce development initiatives is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques is highly desirable.

Pay: $58,892.00 - $64,418.00 per year
