Remote Behavioral Health Care Coordinator

Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must reside in NJ, NY, PA, CT, or MD)
Schedule: Overnight shifts, 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM (weekdays & weekends), 40 hours/week Assignment Duration: 5 months, with possible extension

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will hold an active NJ license (RN, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) and possess experience in behavioral health, preferably within a managed care or insurance setting. This role focuses on case management, utilization review, and supporting patients through their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and coordinate patient care plans

• Provide case management and utilization management services

• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives

• Ensure compliance with healthcare contracts and benefit eligibility requirements

• Utilize hospital structures and payment systems knowledge to support patient care

• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health

• Active, unrestricted NJ license (RN, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) (No deviations permitted)

• Experience in managed care or health insurance preferred

• Knowledge of case/care management and utilization management principles

• Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet applications

• Certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred

Additional Information:

• Work from home (equipment provided)

• Candidates with Managed Care or Health Insurance experience are highly preferred
