Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Counselor located in Columbia, SC. The Mental Health Counselor will provide counseling services, develop treatment plans, manage cases, and engage in relationship counseling. Responsibilities also include offering mental health support and services to students, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other professionals within the university.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management
  • Strong knowledge of Mental Health and Psychology
  • Experience in Relationship Counseling
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in South Carolina
  • Experience in an academic or university setting is a plus
