Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding outpatient team in Nassau or Suffolk County—or to merge your existing practice into our well-established multi-specialty group. This role offers the opportunity to provide integrated mental health services within a supportive clinical environment, with access to internal referrals and full administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical team members to ensure holistic care
• Educate patients and families on psychiatric diagnoses and treatment options
• Document patient encounters and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP certification required)
• DEA certification
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health care strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
