Responsibilities
  • Support clients in developing life skills, including meal preparation, budgeting, and transportation.
  • Assist with personal care needs such as hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
  • Encourage community engagement by accompanying clients to social, recreational, and volunteer activities.
  • Monitor and report on clients' progress, ensuring they receive person-centered support.
  • Provide emotional support and promote a safe, inclusive environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of related experience and/or training working with persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
  • Comfort using basic technology for documentation and communication.
Bonus Points If You:
  • Speak multiple languages (English, Spanish, or Tagalog preferred).
  • Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap preferred).
