Ori Hope Counseling is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW). We are a growing private practice committed to providing high-quality, client-centered counseling services care to a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, couples and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. As part of our holistic and inclusive approach, we also offer christian counseling for clients who request integration of faith-based values into the therapeutic process, along with Immigration evaluations for those navigating immigration process, and trauma counseling.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCSW) based in Houston, TX. The role involves providing counseling services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions. The counselor will also be responsible for maintaining client records, adhering to confidentiality standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The position allows for some work from home, but candidates must be available for in-person sessions as needed.
Requirements
- Fully licensed (LPC, LCSW, LCDC) in the state of Texas
- Strong counseling, assessment, and treatment planning skills
- Experience in individual, group, and family therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish) is a plus (not required)
- Comfortable incorporating Christian values into therapy when requested
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and cultural competence in counseling practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $69,658.00 - $74,269.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
