Company Overview: Reliatus Behavioral Health, based in Phoenix, AZ, is a specialized provider search firm dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with leading behavioral health organizations. We are currently partnering with a highly respected ABA provider in Scottsdale, AZ, to find an exceptional BCBA Clinical Director to lead their clinical team and drive program excellence.

Position Summary: The BCBA Clinical Director will be a pivotal leader, responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This role requires a dynamic and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for clinical excellence, staff development, and strategic growth. The Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and training to a team of BCBAs, RBTs, and other clinical staff, while also managing client programs and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership & Oversight:
  • Provide expert clinical direction and oversight for all ABA programs, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans () based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Conduct regular clinical reviews and case consultations to ensure client progress and program effectiveness.
  • Maintain a small caseload of clients to stay connected with direct service delivery and model best practices.
  • Staff Management & Development:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a team of BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth opportunities for clinical staff.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in ABA principles and techniques.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive, and positive team environment.
  • Program Development & Quality Assurance:
  • Lead initiatives for clinical program development and refinement, incorporating the latest research and advancements in ABA.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure clinical integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze clinical data to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate treatment efficacy.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as payer requirements.
  • Operational & Strategic Contribution:
  • Collaborate with administrative and operational teams to optimize service delivery, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the organization's growth and expansion.
  • Represent the organization at professional conferences, community events, and networking opportunities.
  • Manage budgets related to clinical operations and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-certification experience in a clinical leadership within an ABA setting.
  • Proven experience in supervising and mentoring BCBAs and RBTs.
  • Strong knowledge of various assessment tools (e.g., VB−MAPP, ABLLS−R, AFLS) and intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Valid Arizona state licensure (if applicable) or eligibility to obtain. (LBA)
