Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at Baptist Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN Weekends opportunity.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), your key responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group, individual, and family therapy within an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Conducting assessments of psychosocial needs and delivering therapeutic services to enhance patient functioning, emotional well-being, and behavior.
• Collaborating closely with the treatment team and other professionals to ensure the promotion of continuity of care, facilitating transitions to the next level of care or community settings.
• Playing an active role in quality improvement initiatives and participating in utilization review activities.
  
  

Please note that a valid Florida LMHC is a prerequisite for this role, and registered interns will not be considered.
