Join forces with a great team of Speech, Occupational, and ABA/Behavior Therapists with excellent BCBA oversight. We are seeking an RBT for full-time availability.
SLC is a Virginia-based pediatric therapy company that has been providing ST, OT, PT, ABA, and MH services since 2007. SLC has state-of-the-art facilities with spacious treatment rooms, gyms, and office space.
Our Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following Qualifications:
- At least 1 year working under a BCBA as an BT
- RBT designation required within 90 days of employment
- Strong communication and written skills
- MUST have excellent attendance

Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide individual treatment for individuals aged up to 21 years old.
- Collecting data and implement learning and behavior programs, such as communication, play, and daily living skills, as well as reduction of challenging and disruptive behaviors, under the supervision of BCBAs
- Deliver skills instruction and treatment to clients based upon the principles of applied behavior analysis and evidence-based practices
- Collaborate and support caregivers in targeting treatment goals to ensure progress across settings
- Communicate and collaborate with other therapists, such as SLPs and OTs, and other professionals or educators in a child’s life
- Complete daily documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
- Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a behavioral health or related field (preferred).
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Able to provide consistent attention and care for the client, up to 3 hour long sessions
- Ability to sustain long periods of sitting or standing
- Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other providers
- Ability to bend, squat, lift, and lower a minimum of 20 pounds (must be able to occasionally lift and carry younger clients)
- Must be able to have flexible scheduling
- Ability to communicate with your team through phone and email in a timely manner
